I think I predicted this one in my original e-mail newsletter about a year and a half ago. Video gaming, or some evolutionary variant thereof will eventually surpass football as the critical American spectator sport. Ten years. Tops.

Second Life? Is that still around? I though it would have faded back into the ether some time ago. Instead, it seems to be quite popular.
People are making serious money at it.
In a capitalist society, that's an important measure for success.
