The Pentagon is creating a neural network based AI for use in robot warriors. The new technique will allow the machines to simulate something close to human creativity in decision making processes.

I think I predicted this one in my original e-mail newsletter about a year and a half ago. Video gaming, or some evolutionary variant thereof will eventually surpass football as the critical American spectator sport. Ten years. Tops.
